TESTIMONIALS
I was craving some elegant French cuisine with a California twist, and Isa Restaurant was the perfect choice. The Dungeness crab salad was fresh, light, and full of flavor. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, helping me pick the best wine to pair with my meal. I’ll definitely be back for more!
Went for SF restaurant week and it was great! Out of the 4 courses, my favorites were the scallops, and the dessert. We got seating in the back, which had such pretty lights, and the staff were very nice and explained to us the workings of their restaurant (fun fact: they divide all the tips amongst all of them)!
Had a group of friends in from out of town and we wanted to do share plates. Hadn’t been here in awhile so wanted to check it out. Apparently, my last visit was 2017 (!) but the food was as good as I remembered it. Highly recommend as a nice place to go to catch up with friends and enjoy great food.
Spectacular meal in the San Francisco Marina. Dungenese crab on butter lettuce, sweet and succulent grilled calimari over cannellini beans, duck confit cooked to perfection, moist inside and crackling skin outside, and halibut over a cherry tomatoe and kalmata olive remoulade. each dish showed a different side of the chef’s talents. Our waiter dean guided us through aur choices and paired a great french chardonnay with the seafood and a lovely cali pinot noir with the duck, both generously poured and reasonably priced. Kudos to ISA
One of the best European/Western meals I’ve had in a while. Their signature sea-bass, the their hanger steak (especially the sauce) and the truffle risotto are standouts that made me close my eyes with every bite. This isn’t to mention the perfectly shaken Elderflower Vodka Gimlet and the watchful staff. Try to get a seat in their back patio and enjoy the ride.
Isa is our favorite restaurant. The food is dependably excellent. The tastes, the textures, the presentation and service all make a meal at Isa as perfect as can be.
Went with a group of family and friends to celebrate several birthdays. Everyone agreed that all of the cocktails, appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts were excellent – I thoroughly enjoyed the hamachi starter and sea bass entree. Cozy ambience and very attentive staff – would definitely plan a dinner at Isa again!!!
I just love the halibut they serve!! The preparation is so delicious and makes me feel like the chef really takes extra care to make it beautiful and special. My husband had the steak with Bordelaise sauce and really loved it. The butter lettuce salad was great. We will go back soon (we’ve been there many times over the years).
